Discuss the current challenges of the automotive industry and the future of the automotive supply chain industry.
Take the chance to connect with experts and executives at B2B meetings, and in the exclusive tradeshow that accompanies the summit.

The challenges of the modern automotive world

The age of new mobility and the unstoppable digitalization require a fundamental change in the core of business models. The traditional car manufacturer becomes a battery and software manufacturer or a provider of shared mobility services.

What are the technologies of tomorrow? Is the industry driving electromobility or is the Industry driven by it? Will the new players on the market displace the traditional supplier in  mid-term and what does this change mean for the strengthening of the skills and competencies of employees? In addition to digitization, the increasing demand for sustainability is also becoming a mandatory award criterion for OEMs. This is not only about environmental protection and CO² reduction, but also about transparency within the value chain, social responsibility and the guarantee of an innovative corporate culture.

Can this claim be met by the OEM’s alone or only through cooperation? What role does sustainability play for the own company development and the employees? These future-oriented questions will be discussed in this topic area of the summit.

Program

The Automotive Supplier Summit @IZB2021 is based on two fundamental questions for the automotive industry:

  • Which new challenges is the modern automotive world facing?

  • What actions should be taken to ensure the competitiveness of one of the most important industries in the future?
