Our planet suffers: major environmental challenges include natural resource depletion and waste generation. As a result, resources are dwindling faster than ever and we need to go back to a more sustainable society. Will you be part of the solution?

The Circular By Design Challenge puts creative minds at the centre of the solution-finding process. Targeting the Luxembourg creative industries sector, its objective is to develop new design solutions and innovative business models that are in line with circular economy principles. Luxinnovation’s Creative Industries Cluster has managed to onboard industry partners who are willing to implement and produce the best ideas in four categories: Fashion Design, Interior Design, Product Design and an Open Category.

• Part 1: During the first part of the webinar, entrepreneur Arthur Huang, CEO and Founder of Miniwiz, a company specialised in taking the recycling of waste to the highest form of product engineering, will provide a business perspective of the circular economy. Professor Martin Charter, author of Designing for the Circular Economy, will provide examples of circular products.
• Part 2: This part will focus on the Circular by Design Challenge. What are the 4 challenges? Who are the project partners? How can you be part of the solution? How can you submit your idea(s)? What partnership deals could potentially be unlocked? Join us to get the answers to these questions.
