After having trekked the Zebra’s surroundings during our webinar series on 15 April, we are now exploring its natural habitat. Over the course of 2 days, from 19 to 20 April, we will focus on the 12 branches of the Creative and Cultural Industries here in Luxembourg and meet the Zebras. We are going to stride alongside this genus, entering a world, where creatives share experiences about trends, their individual journeys and inspiring projects.

On 19 April our “wild horses” will be displaying their stripes in the following sub-sectors:

Crafts and Manufacturing, Interactive Media and Gaming, Fashion, Architecture, Music, Performing Arts & Design.

On 20 April our “wild horses” will be displaying their stripes in the following sub-sectors:

Literature, Digital Media & Publishing, Visual Arts, Film & Audio Visual, Marketing & Communication.

Inspirational keynotes, project presentations and round table discussions will form the backbone of these webinars to highlight the aforementioned sectors and their current developments.

During the webinar sessions you will be able to

  • Ask questions and respond to different polls
  • Network: Interact and chat with other participants and create different group discussions

“Everyone will have their say and it is important that everyone participates, in order to shape the future of the creative industries,” explains Creative Industries Cluster Manager Marc Lis.

“Creatives, by definition, think out of the box. They have great potential to contribute ideas and solutions to other industries,” explained Sasha Baillie, CEO of Luxinnovation during the kickoff webinar on 2 April. “They can benefit tremendously from the experience and expertise of companies from other sectors in the way they operate and generate value. Hence, we want to encourage partnerships between the creative industries and other sectors of our economy.”
