Arnaud Lambert, 52, has been active for more than 20 years in the fields of logistics and IT. Between 1998 and 2004, he held several management positions in the IT department of Cargolux and was part of the team that created the spin-off CHAMP Cargosystems, an entity specialising in the delivery of IT solutions for the air cargo industry.

Successively Vice President of Business Services, Customer Services and then Global Solutions, in charge of the entire portfolio of IT solutions for air freight, Arnaud Lambert was appointed CEO in 2015.

“After more than 25 years of experience serving commercial entities with a digital focus, I am delighted to serve a noble cause such as that of accelerating the adoption and integration of digital technologies by industry in Luxembourg, particularly SMEs, and further establishing our country’s place on the European and international stage,” explains Arnaud Lambert.

Launched in September 2019, the Luxembourg Digital Innovation Hub (L-DIH) is a platform hosted and managed by Luxinnovation. It is part of a European initiative aimed at bringing together supply and demand in the context of the digitisation of industry, in particular SMEs. Its establishment is the result of a partnership between the Ministry of the Economy, FEDIL, Luxinnovation, the Chamber of Commerce, the University of Luxembourg, the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST) and the Fonds National de la Recherche (FNR).

Its role is to facilitate contacts between companies that need access to digitalisation skills, technologies, services and support mechanisms on the one hand, and digital technology and service providers that meet the needs of industry, on the other hand.

“Arnaud has a solid experience with IT technologies and digital transformation that meet the needs of business. I am convinced Arnaud has the right profile to engage constructively with research and industry actors to foster Industry 4.0 within our ecosystem and to position Luxembourg’s DIH within the European E-DIH network”, commented Sasha Baillie, CEO of Luxinnovation.

Arnaud Lambert takes up his position on Monday 4 January 2021.
