UPDATE 26/02 – Due to the consequences of the Covid-19 outbreak, the organisers of JEC World have announced the postponement of the 2020 edition to May 12-14, 2020. Read the full official statement HERE.

Once again, this national pavilion, organised by the Ministry of the Economy, will be home to some of Luxembourg’s key players in this sector.

The stand will be placed under the banner of the Composite Industry Luxembourg (CIL) group, in collaboration with the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST).

Luxembourg’s presence at this major international event is in line with the Ministry of the Economy’s targeted promotion policy aimed at enhancing the value of companies with high added value and those in a phase of international expansion.

Hall 5, Stand G.81 will bring together, alongside CIL and LIST, the following Luxembourg companies: CPI, Dynabrade Europe, Gradel, Molecular Plasma Group and Ocsial. In addition, Airtech, Anisoprint, Euro-Composites, Hexagon-e-Xstream Engineering and Michelman will also represent Luxembourg individually,

An essential meeting point

“Over the past two years, we have successfully presented the different facets of the Luxembourg materials and manufacturing sector. It was only natural that we should be present again this year,” says Ian Cresswell, CIL Manager. “With this stand, we have a great platform to present ourselves, undertake joint initiatives and business development at this renowned trade fair. Bringing together public and private players in the industry allows for greater synergies and thus better leverages industry-focused collaborative projects.

On 76,000 sqm of exhibition space, the 2020 edition of JEC World is expected to attract more than 1,300 exhibitors from more than 110 countries and some 45,000 visitors.

“It has almost become a tradition for the major industries of Luxembourg Materials & Manufacturing to exhibit every year at this fair. But we are happy to note that more and more smaller or younger companies also have the opportunity, at the Luxembourg pavilion, to present their innovative technologies to the world of composites”, says Caroline Muller, manager of the Luxembourg Materials & Maufacturing cluster. “This exhibition constitutes an essential meeting point in our approach to help companies to develop their activities in this field. As a cluster, we can only welcome these synergies and future collaboration between Luxembourg companies and other international private or public entities. »

In Luxembourg, the composite materials sector generates a turnover of more than 400 million euros per year and employs more than 1,600 people. The “manufacturing” sector, in total, represents more than 800 companies employing more than 35,000 people.

Composite Industry Luxembourg (CIL) and the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST) have the pleasure of inviting you to a cocktail at the Luxembourg stand on 3 March, from 4.30 pm.
