Colmar-Berg, October, 2017 Josy Blum has been appointed Manufacturing Director Lux Tire Plant. He replaces John Ries, who will move to Germany to take over the position of Manufacturing Director of the Hanau plant.

Josy Blum started his career at Goodyear in 1989 in Colmar-Berg and since then has held multiple positions in Luxembourg, France and most recently in Germany. He joined the company as QTech Engineer at the former Luxembourg Wire Plant and held various roles within the Luxembourg Non-Tire Manufacturing facilities including the role of Production Director Luxembourg Mold & RCC*E/Bladder. He also led the Montluçon and Amiens South Plant as Production Director. L

 

ast year, he accepted the position of Director Manufacturing of the German Hanau plant.

 

Blum is Luxemburger aged 56. He holds a degree in Chemistry and metallurgical engineering from the Saarland University. He is married and father of three children.
