For 30 years,  FEDIL’s Environment Awards has been aimed at rewarding companies whose technical and financial efforts are aimed at reconciling productivity and the preservation of natural resources. The prize is open to all companies, whether they are members of FEDIL or not. The deadline for submission of entries is 31 July 2017.

The categories in which companies can be rewarded are:

  • clean technologies: innovative processes that reduce the impact of business activity on the environment
  • “green” products: products that take into account the protection of the environment at different stages of their life cycle
  • environmental management: innovative action to improve environmental management

The award will be presented on 22 November at a ceremony in the presence of Environment Minister Carole Dieschbourg.

Two first Luxembourg start-ups receive EIC Accelerator funding

The European Commission recently announced that Arspectra and Circuli-ion have been awarded funding from the European Innovation Council (EIC) Accelerator. This is the most prestigious funding available for start-ups from the EU’s Horizon Europe programme. Luxinnovation supported the first-ever EIC Accelerator winners from Luxembourg during the application process.
