Luxembourg’s entrepreneurs — people running their own business for three months to 42 months — made up 9.2% of the working population last year, Statec, the country’s statistics office, said on Tuesday.
That compares with a European average of 8.6% and stable compared with previous years, Statec said in a statement. The study was carried out by the Economy Ministry and Chamber of Commerce as part of the international Global Entrepreneurship Monitoring (GEM) programme.
